FAVORITE MLB PLAYER: Chad Moeller – Chad Moeller is my favorite player for 2 reasons. First, in the majors, he was viewed as a “pitcher’s catcher”, as evidenced by being Randy Johnson’s designated catcher in his 2001 Cy Young award year. Second, I respect Chad as a person. In spite of all of his success, he is friendly, approachable and caring teacher. I consider him my friend.
BASEBALL GOALS: Play 10+ years in the Major Leagues
WHAT I’VE LEARNED FROM CHAD: Chad has taught me many things, helping me refine my catching mechanics. Additionally, he has helped me with the mental aspect of the game, how to have better approaches at the plate as well as how to handle pitchers.
